Murder of 21 year-old young man in Vanadzor revealed; suspect arrested
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder of the resident of Vanadzor town Harutyun Aghajanyan. In the result of urgent investigatory actions of great volume the person having committed the apparent crime was identified; he was arrested.
On November 20, 2016 at about 22:30 the body of the resident of Vanadzor Harutyun Aghajanyan, born in 1995, with cut-pierced wounds was found at the car service station located at 88, Yerevanyan, Vanadzor.
The investigatory-operative group, headed by the Head of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee T. Shushanyan, immediately left for the site. Inspection of the site was conducted.
On November 21, 2016 a criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory plan was worked out.
In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case it was found that the young man had been inflicted bodily injury incompatible with life during the argument over domestic affairs that took place at the car service station. The person having committed the apparent crime was identified; he is also a resident of Vanadzor, 22 years old. The suspect was arrested and gave testimony.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
