A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code in the framework of which investigative and other procedural actions are conducted to find out all circumstances of murder of 36 year-old resident of Kotayk region.

The call on the case had been received in Malatia Police Division on November 8, 2021 at about 00:40; the citizen informed about attack with a knife against their house.

Through inspection of the scene conducted by the investigative-operative group the body of 36 year-old resident of Kotayk with numerous cut-pierced injuries on the head and different parts of the body was found. 6 knives with blood-like traces were found, as well.

In the result of urgent measures the persons having committed the alleged crime were identified; one of them is the victim’s girl-friend, the others are her mother and brother.

The mentioned three persons were arrested on suspicion of willful illegal deprivation of 36 year-old man’s life in a group.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
