On September 15, 2024 at a crossroad in Yerevan a row erupted between the drivers of cars of “Toyota Camry” and “Mercedes” makes, which turned into beating.

Though the criminal proceeding initiated on the same day in the Second Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of the RA Investigative Committee, apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that after the row the people in the car of “Toyota Camry” make chased the other car and parking at a forbidden area, hindered its movement.

Particularly, near Yerevan Municipality getting out of the car, V.M.  hit T.A. causing medium-gravity bodily damage to the latter’s health, after which hit R.R. on the head with a weapon that was with him. As a result, the latter fell to the ground.  

Then V.M. and R.M. went on hitting R.R. with feet causing him heavy bodily damage threatening to life. After the arrival of patrol officers, the group fled.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated by the prosecutor against V.M. according to the Part 3 of the Article 297, the Points 5 and 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 166, the Point 1 of the Part 1 of the Article 167 of RA Criminal Code, against R.M. according to the Part 3 of the Article 297, the Points 5 and 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 166 of RA Criminal Code, and against A.M. according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 297 of RA Criminal Code.

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against V.M. and R.M..

On December 25, 2024 the criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor.
