Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated on forging medical document, reserving the right from a radiologist, was completed in General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

In the course of preliminary investigation apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that on November 10, 2023 the conscript was examined at the medical center, during which the latter was allegedly diagnosed with a disease that gave grounds for the military commissariat's conscription medical commission to record that, according to the list approved by the RA Government's decision, L.M. was unfit for military service.

A forensic medical expertise was commissioned to determine the authenticity of the diagnosis made by the radiologist. According to the received conclusion, such disease was not found with the conscript, which substantiated the fact that the radiologist had prepared a false medical document.

In the course of preliminary investigation public criminal prosecution was initiated against the radiologist according to the Part 1 of the Article 457 of RA Criminal Code.

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
