In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed against the Head of Qaghsi community in Kotayq region for abuse of official authority, embezzlement.
 

In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case it was found that the Head of Qaghsi community of Kotayq region S. Aleqsanyan directed the works of the committee formed for assessing the damage inflicted to the villagers in the result of strong wind in November, 2015 in order to determine the amount of compensation provided by the state. However, appropriate measurements to determine the size of the damage and calculations based on it were not done. According to preliminary investigation data, the amounts of the real damage caused were presented in an inflated way and forged acts with added data were formed.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against S. Aleqsanyan according to the Parts 1 of the Article 308 and the Article 314 (2 counts), the Parts 1 of the Article 38-308 and the Article 38-314, the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 179, the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 of RA Criminal Code. The latter pled guilty and restored the damage inflicted to the state.
 

Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him. Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
