Three more charges pressed in the framework of the criminal case on murder committed in Shengavit

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee active investigatory actions are conducted to find all circumstances of murders committed at the area of “Lia” beauty salon on November 13, to find the persons involved and to individualize the actions of each of them. On the base of the evidence obtained through the criminal case charge was pressed against 3 more persons.
 

It was earlier informed that on November 13, 2016 two persons – residents of Yerevan Gevorg Avetisyan and Mushegh Musheghyan died of firearm injuries they had sustained in the result of shots fired in one of the beauty salons operating in Shengavit administrative district, and one person – Aram Petrosyan was inflicted a firearm injury on the right part of the chest. He is assessed to be in a grave condition. Through inspection of M. Musheghyan’s body bodily injuries inflicted with a cutting-piercing item were also found on the abdomen.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained through the criminal case the investigator made a decision to involve three more persons as a defendant; charge was pressed against Alik Banduryan for inciting M. Musheghyan’s murder according to the Point 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 38-104 of RA Criminal Code, Armen Gasparyan  - for failure to report a surely known grave crime according to the Part 1 of the Article 335 of RA Criminal Code, Artak Nazaryan – for concealing particularly grave crime according to the Part 1 of the Article 334 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Let us mention that in the framework of the criminal case on November 18 charge was also pressed against Petros Israyelyan for Mushegh Musheghyan’s murder according to the Point 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 (murder committed by a group of persons) and charge was pressed against Ruben Khachatryan according to the Point 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 38-104 of RA Criminal Code (assisting murder committed by a group of persons).
 

Thus, as of November 21 5 persons were involved as a defendant. The investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against the defendants.  
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case on the armed incident at “Lia” beauty salon initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 104, the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code is ongoing in Yerevan Investigative Department.

 
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
