The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Artur Poghosyan participated in the 2026 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference, held on October 24-25 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

The visit was organized with the support of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.

During the conference, bilateral meetings and productive discussions were held with law enforcement partners from several countries. The working meetings focused on expanding legal cooperation, exchanging information, and exploring modern approaches to combating crime jointly.

Within the framework of the conference, Artur Poghosyan, Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee met with Lesley Ziman, Principal Deputy Director of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), and Nicholas Collura, Director of the Diplomatic Security Service. 

During the meeting the parties discussed issues of mutual interest, as well as referred to the reforms in law enforcement system and the progress of joint programs. 

Within the framework of the international conference, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee also visited a specialized exhibition, where he familiarized himself with the latest technological equipment used in law enforcement. During the exhibition, discussions were held with partners on technical assistance aimed at developing the capacities of the Investigative Committee.
