As a result of evidentiary and procedural actions conducted in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding investigated in the Department for Investigation of Crimes on Torture and Abusing or Exceeding Authorities by Officials through Using Violence of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee it was grounded that patrol officer of the Police of the RA MIA used violence against a person.

Particularly, on July 1, 2023 P.H. was arrested on suspicion of committing hooliganism and was taken to the Police station where the patrol officer cursed at him and used violence against him. 

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against the patrol officer according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 441 of RA Criminal Code.

Absence ban and suspension of office were used as a pretrial measure against him.

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
