16 year-old teenager arrested on suspicion of stabbing classmate
In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on stabbing a schoolboy the latter’s classmate was arrested.
On September 12 a call was received from “Saint Marry” medical center informing that a teenager with cut-pierced penetrating wound was taken to medical center. In the result of urgent investigatory actions it was found that the boy had sustained the injury on September 12 at about 09:20 during an argument with his classmates over personal matters.
In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts the classmate of the injured was arrested on suspicion of inflicting heavy bodily injury.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
