21 Year-Old Young Man Detained for Hooliganism Committed with Weapon
During preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on hooliganism committed with weapon procured illegally 21 year-old young man turned himself to the investigative body and presented the pistol of «AKM» model with 2 bullets in the cartridge case.
A number of investigatory actions were conducted, forensic medical, forensic ballistic examinations were commissioned.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 21 year-old young man according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 (hooliganism) and the Part 1 of the Article 235 (Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices) of RA Criminal Code. The latter was detained.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
