In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed against 24 year-old resident of Vanadzor town for murder of the resident of Vanadzor Volodya Kochinyan, the motive was found.

On November 19, 2017 a call was received informing that at 01:05 the body of the resident of Vanadzor Volodya Kochinyan, born in 1984, with cut-pierced injury on the abdomen was taken to “Vanadzor Medical Center”.

In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-searching measures the murder was revealed; the motive was found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified.

Pursuant to preliminary investigation data, an argument took place between 24 year-old young man and Kochinyan brothers because of hindering to park the car at the house located at 9 Nzhdeh Street, Vanadzor after which an agreement was achieved to continue the argument at the barrier of “Chimprom” factory located at 2 Vardanants, Vanadzor where the argument turned into brawl during which 24 year-old resident of Vanadzor stabbed V. Kochinyan on the abdomen. The latter died of the bodily injury he had sustained.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 24 year-old young man according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
