26 year-old young man suspected of stabbing 35 year-old man in Vanadzor; 26 year-old man arrested
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on inflicting heavy bodily damage to the resident of Lori. The suspect was arrested.
On August 17, 2017 at 01:30 a call was received from “Vanadzor Medical Center” CJSC informing that the resident of Lori region, born in 1982 with “penetrating cut-pierced wound on the neck and right shoulder” was taken to them.
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. An investigatory group was formed.
In the result of urgent investigatory actions it was found that 35 year-old man was stabbed at the area of “Railroaders park” in Vanadzor during an argument over private matters. Sufficient actual data were obtained on the motive of argument, the person having committed the alleged crime.
The 35 year-old resident of Lori was found an injured party. 26 year-old resident of Lori region was arrested on suspicion of stabbing the latter.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing, necessary investigatory actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of the case.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
