In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee 27 year-old man’s stabbing was revealed; the person having committed the apparent crime was identified, the motive, the knife the crime was committed with were found.  
 

On February 22, 2016 a call was received from “Armenia” medical center  informing that the resident of Yerevan 27 year-old Tigran Asatryan with penetrating wound on the chest and cut-pierced wounds on both legs was taken to the medical center.
 

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory plan was worked out, urgent actions were conducted to find all the circumstances of the case.
 

Through investigation the person having committed the apparent crime was identified and on the base of the obtained evidence on March 31 citizen M. Palatayan was charged with inflicting heavy bodily damage with a knife to T. Asatryan according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.
 

During preliminary investigation the knife the crime was committed with was found at the place pointed out by the defendant and was confiscated.
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
