A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on infliction of willful heavy damage to 30 year-old man’s health.

On October 30, 2015 at 01:00 a call was received from “Armenia” medical center informing that a man of about 30 with numerous cut-pierced wounds on his chest, abdomen, lower limbs and face (20 wounds) was taken to the medical center from house 2, Silikyan district.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code (infliction of willful heavy damage to health).

In the result of investigatory, operative-intelligence measures a number of circumstances were found. The 38 year-old resident of Yerevan H. Baghdasaryan was arrested on suspicion of inflicting heavy bodily damage to the 30 year-old man. H. Baghdasaryan testified on what had happened.

According to data of preliminary investigation the latter stabbed the 30 year-old man in his house.

Forensic examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is under way.
