31 Year-Old Man Detained for Murder of Yerevan Resident in Gegharkunik Province
Through preliminary investigation of the criminal case investigated in Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of apparent murder committed on Tsovagyugh-Shorzha-Vardenis road were found out, charge was pressed against 31 year-old man.
It was earlier informed that on April 17 from 00:00 to 01:00 on the 29th km of Tsovagyugh-Shorzha-Vardenis road 31 year-old resident of Gegharkunik province fired towards the car of “Porsch” make with a hunting gun of “MR-155” model. As a result, the driver of the car died at the scene of the bodily injuries he had sustained.
On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 31 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code. The latter was detained.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
