34 Year-Old Resident of Myasnikyan Village Arrested on Suspicion of Stabbing Fellow-Villager

On August 10, 2020 at about 23:40 a call was received from Armavir Medical Center informing that 28 year-old resident of Myasnikyan village of Armavir province with cut-pierced injury on the abdomen was taken to them. He told that he had sustained the injury in their yard because he had fallen down.

In the result of measures taken it was found out that on 10 August, 2020 at about 23:20 during the argument over domestic matters on the land located at right side of Myasnikyan-Dalarik road of Armavir province the person having committed the alleged crime stabbed 28 year-old resident of Myasnikyan village causing heavy bodily damage.

A criminal case was initiated in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 (willful infliction of heavy bodily damage) of RA Criminal Code. 28 year-old resident of Myasnikyan village was found the injured party.

In the result of investigatory and procedural actions, as well as operative-intelligence measures 34 year-old fellow-villager of the injured turned himself to Baghramyan Police Division. The latter was arrested on suspicion of willful infliction of heavy bodily damage to fellow-villager.

During preliminary investigation investigatory actions were conducted - inspection of the scene with participation of the suspect was conducted during which the folding knife was found, the clothes the injured was wearing at the moment of the incident were confiscated and blood-like traces were found on them, samples were taken, a number of people were questioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
