As a Result of Searches Conducted in Ararat Region Illegal Weapon-Ammunition Found

 

On the base of the information received from the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA investigative Committee on murder attempt and illegal trafficking of firearms, their main components, ammunition and other materials, devices, objects, on November 7, 2025 over a dozen searches were conducted  jointly by the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. As a result, a large amount of illegal weapons, ammunition, and narcotic drugs were found.

8 individuals were arrested. 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
