Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated on hooliganism committed by a group of people was completed in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. 

In the course of the preliminary investigation apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that on October 5, 2025 a group of people blocked the traffic of another car on Aygegortsneri Street in the Merdzavan settlement with their cars, preventing it from continuing its journey.

Getting out of the cars, with the intent to commit hooliganism, a group of people, without any reason, started arguing with the other side, striking each other.  

The members of the group, using profanity, displayed disrespect toward society and an openly contemptuous attitude toward legal and moral norms, as well as threw stones in the direction of others.
Public criminal prosecution was initiated against three individuals according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 297 of RA Criminal Code. 

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against one person. 
The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.
