Damage of 7.4 Million AMD Caused to State Recovered by Company Engaged in Illegal Business Activities

 

In the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out that a company illegally removed 7,678 cubic meters of basalt-like gravel from a 2,417 square-meter plot of land located in the administrative territory of Urut settlement of Berd community of Lori. As a result, damage in the amount of 7 million 467 thousand 269 AMD was caused to the state. 

During the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding the damage caused to the state has fully been recovered. 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
