In the course of the preliminary investgation of the criminal proceeding investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out that in October-December, 2024 in various sections of Gyulagarak Forest District of Stepanavan Forestry Branch of “Hayantar” SNCO, using construction machinery, 208 trees of various diameters, which were state property, were destroyed by a company engaged in construction work by cutting down and uprooting them.

As a result of procedural and evidentiary actions conducted in the course of the preliminary investigation, it was also found out that at the administrative district of Gyulagarak settlement of Lori region 119 trees of various diameters, which were community property, were distroyed in the same way. 

As a result of the above-mentioned actions pecuniary damage in large amount - 4 million 479 thousand AMD has been caused to the state. 

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against one person according to the Point 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 387 of RA Criminal Code. 

During the pre;liminary investigation of the criminal proceeidng the damage caused to the state and Gyulagarak community has completely been recovered. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor.
