Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated on accessing and viewing videos containing child pornography was completed with respect to one individual in the Department for Investigation of Cybercrime and High Technology Crime of General Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee. 

In the course of the preliminary investigation factual data were obtained on the allegation that in the period between March 4 and 30, 2025 A.G. corresponded with M.B. through his account on the “Telegram” messaging app, received from him, gained access to and viewed videos containing child pornography.

Public criminal prosecution was initiated against A.G. according to the Part 2 of the Article 300 of RA Criminal Code. 

The criminal proceeding with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor for approval and referral to court.

It should be noted that the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding with respect to M.B. was completed in May, 2025.
