In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee murder of 48 year-old man was revealed, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified, actual data were obtained on the motive.

On October 3, 2017 at 20:35 a call was received from medical center informing that a man, born in 1969, was taken to medical center with firearm injuries. His life could not be saved and on the morning of October 4 he died without regaining consciousness.

In the framework of the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department investigatory and operative-searching measures of great volume were taken.

As a result, a number of circumstances significant for the case such as the way of commitment, the relation with the victim were found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1971. Searches were conducted in the cars belonging to 48 year-old man, in the order defined by law, a capsule of 7.62 mm was found in the car of “Mini Cooper” make. Necessary samples were taken and forensic examinations were commissioned.

The man was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to find all circumstances, to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation of the case.
