A criminal case initiated on death of serviceman Harutyun Hambaryan
A criminal case was initiated in the Third garrison investigative unit of General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on death of serviceman Harutyun Hambaryan.
According to initial data, on May 8, 2015 at about 15:15 the serviceman of unit N of Defense Army, soldier Harutyun Hambaryan died in the result of the shot fired at the frontal part of his head from the gun AKMS attached to him.
On May 8 a criminal case was initiated in the Third garrison investigative unit of General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 110 of RA Criminal Code, an investigative group was formed.
On the same day inspection of the scene, external inspection of H. Hambaryan’s body was conducted, forensic examination of the body was appointed. Necessary investigatory and procedural measures are taken to find the circumstances of the serviceman’s death.
Preliminary investigation is under way.
