A criminal case initiated on firing shots towards truck of RF citizen by Azeri
A criminal case was initiated in Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder attempt, infliction of willful damage to somebody else’s property through arson, explosion or in a way dangerous for public out of motives of national, race or religious hate or fanatism.
On November 5, 2015 at about 15:07 shots were fired from combat weapons of different caliber by unidentified persons from combat positions of the Republic of Azerbaijan towards the truck “DAF XF 95” with plate number K169CP15rus driven by a citizen of the Russian Federation on Baghanis-Voskepar interstate road. As a result, the engine of the mentioned vehicle was damaged.
The driver of the vehicle A. Yeldzarov submitted a report to the Police station of Noyemberyan.
On the same day a criminal case was initiated in Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 6, 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 and the Points 1 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 185 of RA Criminal Code (murder attempt, infliction of willful damage to somebody else’s property through arson, explosion or in a way dangerous for public out of motives of national, race or religious hate or fanatism).
A. Yeldzarov was found an injured party. In the result of the shots he has not sustained any bodily injury.
The shots fired towards Baghanis-Voskepar interstate road and border villages went on, so it was impossible to conduct an inspection of the site because of danger.
The truck “DAF XF 95” with plate number K169CP15rus is at the site.
Measures are taken to conduct investigatory actions at the site and bring the vehicle out of the it.
Preliminary investigation is conducted.
