A criminal case initiated on inflicting grave damage through negligence, illegal keeping and carrying of weapons
A criminal case was initiated in Tumanyan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on inflicting grave damage through negligence to the resident of Alaverdi, Levon Nalbandyan.
On July 19, 2015 at 00:40 a report was received from “Alaverdi medical center” CJSC informing that Levon Nalbandyan born in 1993 with firearm injuries on his legs was taken to the medical center.
On the same day at 02:10 the resident of Alaverdi, Karen Yeritsyan surrendered himself and declared that he had shot with a gun and inflicted the mentioned damages to Levon Nalbandyan through negligence. He also presented the gun of factory number AK-74 with its cartridge holder in which there were two bullets.
A criminal case was initiated on infliction of grave damage through negligence and illegal keeping and carrying of weapon according to the Part 1 of the Article 120 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Necessary investigatory measures are taken to provide the comprehensive and objective examination of circumstances of the case.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
