A criminal case initiated on suicide attempt committed by 32 year-old man
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on suicide attempt committed by 32 year-old L. Hovhannisyan.
On September 7, 2015 at about 09:55 a report was received from university hospital N 1 after Heratsi informing that L. Hovhannisyan, born in 1983, with a firearm injury on the right eyebrow area was taken to hospital from Meliq Adamyan Street, Yerevan near the Government building.
Considering that in the materials there is a reason for initiation of a criminal case envisaged by RA Criminal Code, a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 110 of RA Criminal Code (Causing somebody to commit suicide or make an attempt at a suicide by indirect willfulness or by negligence, by means of threat, cruel treatment or regular humiliation of one’s dignity).
Preliminary investigation is under way.
Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.
