A criminal case initiated on using violence against wife by husband
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on using violence to wife and inflicting her heavy bodily damage by husband.
According to preliminary investigation data, on August 18, 2016 at about 22:00 the husband argued with his wife over domestic affairs near the house during which he hit his wife on the head and different parts of her body with hands then with a metal bar.
On August 26 a criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.
During preliminary investigation the wife was found injured party and was interrogated.
According to the conclusion of the forensic medical examination commissioned in the framework of the criminal case, in the result of violence the wife was inflicted bodily damages threatening to life.
After the incident the husband escaped. The relevant subdivisions of the Police were tasked to take measures to find and bring him to the investigative body.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
