In the result of investigatory and procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Syuniq Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of shots fired in Agarak on August 4, 2015 were found, the frame of the persons having committed the apparent crime are clarified.

Earlier it was informed that according to the data of preliminary investigation, on August 4, 2015 at about 19:00 28 year-old R. Atanesyan, 30 year-old B. Avetisyan who were in tense relationship with the resident of Agarak, S. Hovhannisyan born in 1962, argued with him on driving the car at a high speed. Then on the same day at about 22:30 a group of persons ambushed in the yard of the 22d building, Charents Street of Agarak in “Porsche Cayenne S 4.5” belonging to R. Atanesyan, “Mercedes Benz E 320” belonging to B. Avetisyan and “Vaz 21-06” belonging to L. Alaverdyan. Then the driver of “Vaz 21-06” drove and hit the left part of “Nissan X Trail” driven by S. Hovhannisyan.

Then shots were fired towards S. Hovhannisyan but the latter managed to escape.

A criminal case was initiated on August 5, 2015 according to the Points 6, 7 and 10 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code (attempt of illegal willful deprivation of life committed in a way dangerous for the life of many people, by a group of persons out of hooliganism).

In the result of the measures taken in the framework of investigation three persons were arrested; on August 12, 2015 the residents of Syuniq region H. Hovhannisyan (born in 1984) and R. Atanesyan (born in 1987) surrendered themselves to Syuniq Regional Investigative Department, the latter also submitted “Winchester Fabarm” hunting rifle of 12 mm caliber.

On August 11 the participant of the incident B. Avetisyan also had surrendered himself to Syuniq Regional Investigative Department. The mentioned three persons were arrested on suspicion of murder attempt against S. Hovhannisyan.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, necessary investigatory and procedural measures are taken to provide the comprehensive and objective examination of the case.
