In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee active investigatory actions are ongoing to find circumstances, motive of Arshak Grigoryan’s suicide.
 

According to preliminary investigation data, on September 20, 2016 from 12:30 to 13:00 Arshak Grigoryan, born in 1990, committed a suicide in their basement with a rifle of “Makarov” model procured illegally.  Through inspection of the site, the rifle of ‘Makarov” model with charged cartridges, a capsule, as well as a bullet was found.  
 

A decision was made to find Arshak Grigoryan as an injured party. Inspection of the body was conducted according to which wounds were found on the right and left temporal regions of the body. The clothes of the victim, as well as of the relative who had found the body were confiscated, necessary samples were taken.
 

A number of examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case, including forensic medical, forensic finger print, forensic biological examinations.
 

A number of persons were interrogated, including the victim’s relatives, friends. The relevant subdivisions of the police were tasked to take operative-searching measures.
 

During preliminary investigation it was found that there are cameras at the area the videos of which have been confiscated and video recording examination has been commissioned.
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated according to the Parts 1 of the Article 110 and the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code is ongoing.
