Argument between Fellow-Citizens Ended in Stabbing
In the result of investigative and other procedural actions conducted within the criminal case investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out that on 4 August, 2021 at about 15:00 at the cross-road of Shirakatsi and Zoryan Streets of Vanadzor 21 year-old resident of Vanadzor met 46 year-old fellow-citizen and during the argument about cancelling the latter’s daughter’s engagement willfully stabbed the man on different parts of his body causing heavy damage threatening to life.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the young man according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. The investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
