Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of 28 year-old young man's murder committed in May 9 Street, Yerevan.

On June 9, 2020 at 17:10 a call was received from a citizen informing that shots were heard from the houses located next to the market in May 9 Street, Yerevan.

On the same day at 17:25 a call was received from «Shengavit» medical center informing that the resident of Yerevan, born in 1992, with firearm injuries was taken to them from May 9 Street who died in hospital.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 6 and 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 (murder), the Part 1 of the Article 235 (illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices) of RA Criminal Code.

It was found out that the young man had sustained the bodily injuries incompatible with life during an armed incident.

Pursuant to initial data, on June 9, 2020 at about 17:00 in the yard of one of the houses in May 9 Street a row erupted between 28 year-old resident of the same house and a number of people during which for the purpose of illegal deprivation from life shots were fired towards 28 year-old young man from firearms procured and kept illegally.

In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions as well as operative-intelligence measures a number of circumstances of the armed incident were found out, several persons involved in the incident were identified.

Inspection of the scene was conducted during which blood-like traces, cartridges of several calibers, balls and unfired bullets were found. A number of forensic examinations were commissioned, the videos captured by the cameras at the scene were confiscated, over two dozens of people were questioned, the clothes the victim was wearing at the moment of the incident were confiscated.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Measures are taken to find out all circumstances, the frame of those involved in the argument, to find them as well as the person having committed the alleged crime, to personalize the actions of each of them, to find the firearms.
