On March 25 Ashot Grigoryan, who was under persecution in the framework of the criminal case initiated on armed incident that took place in Gyumri on the evening of March 7, 2015, surrendered himself and was detained.
 

On March 10 search was declared against A. Grigoryan. On the base of the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation on March 10 the investigative body made a decision to involve him as a defendant for murder attempt against two and more persons.
 

It was earlier informed that in the result of armed incident, that took place in Myasnikyan Str., Gyumri on March 7, 6 persons with different bodily injuries were taken to hospital. On March 11 the hospital informed the investigative body that Knyaz Ghazaryan, who had been taken to hospital in the result of the mentioned armed incident, died.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
 

Necessary investigative and operative-searching measures are taken to provide the comprehensive examination of the circumstances of the case, to identify all the participants and to find the actions of each participant.
 

Two persons G. Grigoryan and P. Araqelyan are under persecution. 5 more persons were charged with committing hooliganism with a group of people by using violence.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
