On February 17, 2021 at about 12:55 for the purpose of stealing somebody else’s property the person having committed the alleged crime entered the shop of souvenirs and golden jewelry located in G. Nzhdeh Street of Sisian community, using violence with a knife against the assistant stole golden jewelry in significant amount and fled.

A criminal case was initiated in Sisian Investigative Division of Syunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 3 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 (banditry) of RA Criminal Code. The shop assistant was found the injured party.

During preliminary investigation investigative and other procedural actions were conducted, including inspection of the scene during which the knife which was the crime tool, a mask and blood-like traces were found, samples were taken, videos captured by the cameras located in the shop were inspected. Forensic medical examination was commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is conducted.

Measures are taken to identify the person having committed the alleged crime, to find and bring him to the investigative body.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
