In the result of investigatory actions of great volume conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee cases of providing incorrect data on health for money committed by several employees of medical facilities were found; charge was pressed against 4 persons.

On August 2 the criminal case initiated in the RA National Security Service on swindling money by cheating and giving bribe was received in the proceeding of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

In the result of necessary investigatory actions actual data were obtained on providing incorrect data on health of boys of military age.

In the framework of the criminal case charge was pressed against four persons three of which are employees of medical facilities. Thus, charge was pressed against 1 person according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 178, the Point 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 178 and the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 34-178 of RA Criminal Code, charge was pressed against nurse of neurosurgery department of medical center according to the Part 1 of the Article 313 of RA Criminal Code (3 counts), charge was pressed against cardiologist according to the Part 1 of the Article 311 of RA Criminal Code, charge was pressed against another doctor according to the Point 2 of the Part 4 of the Article 311.2 of RA Criminal Code (2 counts). Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against 3 of the defendants, signature not to leave was chosen against one of them.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, active investigatory actions are conducted to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation of circumstances of the case, to reveal other possible offences, to find the frame of those involved in it. Other information on the criminal case shall not be published at this stage of preliminary investigation.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
