Chairman of RA Investigative Committee Received General-Director of International Commission on Missing Persons (photos)
The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Argishti Kyaramyan received the delegation headed by the Director-General of the International Commission on Missing Persons Kathryne Bomberger.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Tigran Balayan also took part in the meeting.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee made a reference to the peculiarities of the pretrial proceeding conducted within the section of missing persons emphasizing the priorities of effective communication with international structures in this sphere.
Argishti Kyaramyan expressed gratitude for the support within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between the RA Investigative Committee, RA Ministry of Health and the International Commission on Missing Persons for additional examination of 100 complicated samples in the Netherlands, DNA testing and receiving genetic characteristics aimed at identification of persons missing as a result of Artsakh war in 2020.
Kathryne Bomberger presented the work done by the International Commission on Missing Persons and current priorities.
The parties exchanged ideas on implementation of processes required for the persons missing as a result of Artsakh war and agreed to expand the cooperation.
