Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of banditry committed with a weapon against the pharmacy employee. Charge was pressed against 27 year-old man.

On March 31, 2019 at 01:00 the resident of Armavir, born in 1992, entered one of the pharmacies located in Mamikonyants Street of Yerevan and pointing out the rifle that was with him, threatening to use violence dangerous for the employee’s life and health swindled the money that was in the cash register and fled.

Besides, through preliminary investigation it was found out that without purpose of selling 27 year-old man illegally procured and kept 70.01 grams of narcotic drug of “Marijuana” type in the basement of his house which was found through search conducted in the latter’s house.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the man, born in 1992, according to the Point 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 and the Part 3 of the Article 268 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to find out the source of procurement of narcotic drug, to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.
