In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of 20 year-old young man's stabbing were found out. Charge was pressed against 32 year-old man.

On May 31, 2019 a report was submitted by a citizen, born in 1998, informing that on the previous day he had been stabbed at one of the bus stops on Komitas Street.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Point 9 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. 20 year-old young man was found the injured party.

In the result of investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures a number of circumstances of the case – the scene, the motive were found out. The person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1987.

Pursuant to initial data, on May 30, 2019 at about 22:00 at the bus stop near the supermarket located on Komitas Street the 32 year-old resident of Yerevan, being under the influence of alcohol, scolded a girl standing at the bus stop. In this relation 20 year-old young man made a remark.
  

32 year-old man got upset about the remark made by the young man. He scolded the latter and willfully stabbed him twice on the chest with a cutting-piercing item that was with him causing heavy bodily injury threatening to life.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 32 year-old man according to the Point 9 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
