On June 6, 2020 a call was received from university hospital N 1 informing that 48 year-old resident of Yerevan with a diagnosis of craniocerebral injury, coma was taken to them.

Through preliminary investigation conducted in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out that on June 6, 2020 at about 03:30 having drunk alcohol in his house located in Sari Tagh, Yerevan  60 year-old man argued with his 48 year-old friend on personal matters. During the argument he hit the latter on his head causing heavy damage threatening to life.

A number of investigatory actions, including inspection of the scene were conducted during which blood-like traces were found and confiscated. Forensic biological and forensic medical examinations were commissioned.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 60 year-old resident of Yerevan according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 (willful infliction of heavy bodily damage) of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
