Investigation is conducted in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of apparent squandering committed by the head of Zartonk community. Charge was pressed against him.

On March 11, 2019 6 residents of Zartonk village submitted an application to Police Division of Metsamor informing that the head of Zartonk community had committed a number of abuses, particularly, he squandered some of the money withdrawn from the community budget for social aid.

Materials were prepared in RA Police Division of Metsamor during which the mentioned residents of Zartonk community, who were participants of four day war in April, 2016, told in their explanations that the community head withdrew 1.100.000 AMD in total in their names from the community budget. However, one of them did not receive any money at all, others received 300.000 AMD in total.

Data were obtained that 400 USD was transferred to municipality of Zartonk from «ART» charity organization for treatment and rest of two servicemen who had taken part in the war and had got injured but the money was not given to them.

On March 21, 2019 a criminal case was initiated in Police Division of Metsamor according to the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 and the Part 1 of the Article 308 of RA Criminal Code which was received in the proceeding of Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

A number of investigatory actions were conducted – witnesses, the person having reported about the apparent crime were questioned, the documents submitted by the applicants were inspected.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence on April 15, 2019 charge was pressed against the community head according to the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.
