In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Ararat Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee a charge was pressed against the Chief of Ararat Territorial Division of Urban Planning State Inspectorate of Ministry of Urban Development H. Hovhannisyan for taking bribe.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was particularly found that H. Hovhannisyan, abusing his official authority, on March 11 demanded bribe of large amount from the proxy Zh. Shahbazyan for implementing some activities in the framework of his authorities in favor of the citizen G. Sahakyan.
 

Two days later – on March 13, according to the agreement H. Hovhannisyan took the required money in his office and immediately after it he was caught by the officers of General Department of Struggle against Organized Crime of the Police adjunct to RA Government.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence H. Hovhannisyan was charged according to the Part 1 of the Article 311 of RA Criminal Code for taking bribe by a state official.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
