In the framework of the criminal case initiated in General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee a charge was pressed against the officer of Military Institute after Vazgen Sargsyan of RA Ministry of Defense, platoon commander Artyom Avetisyan.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was found that A. Avetisyan witnessing the row between the cadets of the staff under him Haykaz Barseghyan and A. Martirosyan, as well as the breach of rules of relationship, did not take any measures to prevent the row, he did not find the motives and did not report according to subordination causing significant damage to the interests of military service.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence A. Avetisyan was charged according to the Part 1 of the Article 375 of RA Criminal Code. Imprisonment was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
 

Preliminary investigation is under way. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive and complete examination of the circumstances of the case.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
