In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed against 45 year-old man for hooliganism with weapon committed in one of the cafes in Vanadzor town.

On July 30, 2017 a call was received informing that on the same day at about 02:00 shots were fired at the cafe operating in «Sayat-Nova» park in Vanadzor.

In the result of necessary investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated in the RA IC Lori Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 235 and the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code a number of circumstances significant for the case were found.

Through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that the 45 year-old man fired about 40 shots at the cafe operating in «Sayat-Nova» park in Vanadzor which was combined with threats to use violence against people who were at the mentioned cafe.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 45 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 235 and the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
