In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed against chief specialist of Vanadzor territorial division of social assistance for demanding and receiving money to involve citizens in the list of beneficiaries.

Pursuant to preliminary investigation data, the chief specialist demanded and received illegal payment for offering to grant family benefit on assertion of data mentioned in the submitted application form about the families of different residents of Aznvadzor community of Lori region, to give positive conclusion on it, to determine the  unemployment unit of the family with a program method, to submit the order on benefit appointment to the approval of agency chief, to involve in the list of beneficiaries, not to stop the benefit payment in further years and to carry out the procedure of benefit provision without any obstacles.

On the base of the obtained actual data the abuses were recorded from 2006 to 2018.

On the base of the obtained evidence on April 14 charge was pressed against chief specialist of Vanadzor territorial division of social assistance according to the Point 2 of the Part 4 of the Article 311.1 of RA Criminal Code. On the same day motion was submitted to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him, it was sufficed.  

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to reveal other possible counts of illegal payment, to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
