In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of illegal appropriation of computer data were found out. Charge was pressed against the resident of Armavir.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation, 33 year-old resident of Armavir, being divorced with the resident of Yerevan by the court verdict, at the beginning of December, 2018 in the phone of their minor child seeing that the password of the page of “Facebook” social site of his former wife was saved, without her permission copied the half-naked photos and messages in her personal messages and kept them in his phone. Then in the same month 33 year-old man sent the mentioned photos and messages via “Viber” to his former wife’s brother and sister breaching inalienable rights to freedom of communication and privacy as well as protection of personal data guaranteed by RA Constitution.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 33 year-old man according to the Article 144 and the Part 1 of the Article 254 of RA Criminal Code.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
