Charge pressed within criminal case on murder committed at Vernissage
In the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee on murder committed at Vernissage charge was pressed against 60 year-old R. Khachatryan.
It was earlier informed that on September 14, 2017 shots were fired near the hotel located 48, Hanrapetutyan Street. As a result, one person - Gagik Mosinyan, born in 1974, died at the site and Vahagn Abgaryan, born in 1978, was taken to medical center with firearm injuries.
In the result of investigatory actions of great volume conducted in the framework of the criminal case a number of circumstances significant for the case were found. Particularly, actual data were obtained on the allegation that the murder had been planned in advance, the frame of those involved in crime was found, two of them are residents of Alaverdi, one – a resident of Yerevan.
On September 15 the investigator made a decision to involve A. Blbulyan, A. Karadavidov and R. Khachatryan as a defendant according to the Points 6 and 7 of the Part 2 of the Article 104, the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 and the Point 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code, detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against them and search was declared.
In the result of operative-searching measures the wanted R. Khachatryan was found on September 22 and brought to the investigative body. Charge was pressed against the latter and he was interrogated. A motion was submitted to court to reaffirm detention chosen as a pretrial measure against R. Khachatryan.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to find those under persecution, to provide the comprehensive and objective investigation of the criminal case.
