In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed against 26 year-old R. Sahakyan for murder attempt committed on June 30 against Asiryan brothers.
 

It was earlier informed that on June 30, 2016 a call was received from “Armenia” medical center informing that H. Asiryan, born in 2000, A. Asiryan, born in 1988 and R. Sahakyan, born in 1990, were taken to medical center. On July 1 at about 00:15 H, Asiryan died without regaining consciousness.
 

In the result of urgent investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department it was found that Asiryan brothers sustained bodily injuries during the argument with R. Sahakyan.
 

According to data obtained through investigation on June 30, 2016 at about 22:00 in Huysi avan district of Yerevan R. Sahakyan, who had used alcoholic drink, approached Sahak Asiryan and a row on personal matters erupted between elder Asiryan brothers and R. Sahakyan. Seeing a knife in the latter’s hand younger Asiryan also joined them and tried to help his brothers during which two of Asiryan brothers were stabbed, R. Sahakyan also sustained injuries. The third brother took two injured brothers to medical center in his friend’s car. Younger Asiryan died in medical center without regaining consciousness.  
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against R. Sahakyan according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code. The investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him. The motion was sufficed.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
