Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on making false vouchers to the resort and selling them from 2012 to 2014 by the officials of the RA Ministry of Health is ongoing in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained in the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case on June 15 charge was pressed against Chief of State Health Agency Saro Tsaturyan, Head of Yerevan City Center of State Health Agency Arsen Sedrakyan, former Head of Medical Service Purchasing and Information Unit of the agency Samvel Kharazyan according to the Part 2 of the Article 308 of RA Criminal Code (abuse of official authority which negligently caused grave consequences).
 

According to preliminary investigation data from 2012 to 2014 out of personal interests they did not perform their official duties and used their official post against the interests of service. Particularly, requirements of a number of orders of the RA Minister of Health, RA Government on free and privileged medical care and service guaranteed by the state were violated. As a result, more vouchers than the number of the ones confirmed by the orders of the Minister of Health were received negligently causing grave consequences.  
 

Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against the defendants.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Additional information on procedural decisions made on the base of investigation results will be provided.
