A criminal case was initiated in Stepanavan Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on inflicting the resident of the village of Kurtan, H. Araqelyan a bodily damage with a cutting-piercing object. In the result of the taken measures the circumstances of the case were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.
 

On 17 January, 2015 at 18:10 a call was received from medical center of Stepanavan informing that the resident of the village of Kurtan of the region of Lori, H. Araqelyan with cut-pierced penetrating wound on the left lower lateral part of his chest turned to medical center for medical assistance.
 

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in Stepanavan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee pursuant to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.
 

In the result of the taken measures it was found that on 17 January, 2015 at about 17:00 during the row erupted on domestic affairs at the area called “The area of Zavod” of the village of Kurtan the minor resident of the same village out of motives of revenge for dishonoring stabbed with a knife he had taken in advance at the left lower lateral part of H. Araqelyan’s chest.
 

In the result of stabbing heavy bodily damage dangerous for life was inflicted to H. Araqelyan’s health.
 

On 17 January at 23:40 the suspect was arrested.

Preliminary investigation is under way.
