Citizen Swindled Money in Large Amount from Parents of Fallen Servicemen under the Pretext of Preparing Tombstones
Through the criminal proceeding initiated on December 7, 2024 in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of the RA Investigative Committee apparent factual data were obtained on the allegation that under the pretext of preparing tombstones for the graves of the fallen soldier brothers, A.N. swindled money in large amount – 4 million 807 thousand AMD from their parents, and later refused to return the money under various pretexts.
On December 9, 2024 the prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against A.N. according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the article 255 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigative actions are conducted o fully disclose the circumstances of the incident and to verify the possible hypothesis that A.N. committed other criminal acts.
