Criminal Case Initiated on 25 Year-Old Woman’s Murder

On 17 August, 2020 at about 15:00 the body of 25 year-old resident of Yerevan with bodily injuries on the neck and face was found in Hovsepyan Street of Yerevan by police officers.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.

Inspection of the scene was conducted, forensic medical, forensic genetic examinations were commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
